How does it work?
When are intake forms due for a new client?
Initial evaluation intake forms need to be completed and electronically submitted through the Luminello patient portal no later than 72 hours prior to the appointment. This allows Moorestown Psychiatry the time needed to carefully review your medical history in advance of your appointment. If we do not receive the forms by the intake form due date, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Will my insurance cover my visit? And why is the practice an out-of-network provider?
Moorestown Psychiatry is an out-of-network provider practice, meaning we do not accept insurance or Medicare or Medicaid directly. Moorestown Psychiatry does not participate in insurance plans because many insurance companies dictate the length and frequency of appointments for each patient, which may be inadequate in providing quality care. Dr. Kapoor believes it takes more than 10-15 minutes for a follow-up appointment when one is prescribed medication. This is also in accordance with the recommendations of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
